    The Role
    Responsible for the leadership, development, supervision and deployment of the Employee Benefits Client Service staff in all five of our regional offices.

    Responsibilities

    Leadership and Development

    • Provide leadership and employee development support to the Employee Benefits Client Service staff. Includes continuous modeling and communication of M3 Vision, Strategies, Values, and Goals.
    • Assist staff with development, deployment and monitoring of individual career plans.
    • Lead, coach and assist staff with building and maintaining successful Account Executive working relationships, as well as, Carrier working relationships.
    • Overall motivation and engagement of client service staff.
    • Work with the Director of Client Services to ensure we are creating an environment that supports employee growth and development and empowers employees to contribute.

    Supervision

    • Evaluate performance and provide continuous feedback to ensure professionalism in the agency and high level technical and professional skills of staff.
    • Manage department personnel to achieve M3 goals and strategies based on a high level of customer service to clients.
    • Interview, hire, train, evaluate, discipline and terminate employees.
    • Assess staff compensation based on performance and market conditions.
    • Analyze and manage expenditures of the department to conform to budget.

    Client Service Deployment

    • Assist with the development, implementation and communication of the M3 Client Service model
    • Assist and/or facilitate client and carrier resolution with staff
    • Oversee the completion and communication of compliance auditing
    • Coordinate and monitor workflows and procedures with staff to ensure high quality service and compliance to agency standards; continuously work with Professional Development and make recommendations for improvement on standards, workflows and procedures.
    • Plan, assign, and direct work. 
    • Stay current with agency automation system and other business operating techniques 
    • Assist Director of Client Services in defining client satisfaction benchmarks and measurement tools
    • Take into consideration the ramifications of decisions on M3 clients and carriers as part of planning and decision-making processes
    • Actively participate in development of training practices and procedures

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree (B. B. A.) in business from four-year college or university or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 
    • A minimum of two – four years related management/supervisory and insurance industry experience is preferred.
    • Wisconsin Insurance license
